Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park

With easy access for The Assembly residents, Ralph C. Wilson Jr. Centennial Park makes up 20 acres of green space with pathways and seating. The park is in the process of being transformed to feature a beach for sunning, a cove for swimming and a pier for fishing. On dry land, the development will include a playground, a basketball pavilion and a performance stage.

 

May Creek Greenway

Planning is underway for the May Creek Greenway, a pathway for pedestrians and cyclists following the railroad. The trail will connect the riverfront – right by The Assembly – and Roosevelt Park, which is adjacent to Michigan Central Station. The historic train depot will undergo restorations to stand as the hub of Ford’s future 30-acre campus committed to mobility innovation.

Getting Around

As the Motor City evolves into the Mobility City, Detroit connects people and places with local public mass transit.

DDOT: The DDOT bus has 48 routes throughout Detroit and 23 surrounding cities. A route stops at Fort/Rosa Parks, right outside of The Assembly.

SMART: The SMART bus has 47 routes throughout Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties. A route stops at Michigan/Trumbull, 10 blocks from The Assembly.
